Dates announced for 2015 European Industry Forum

The 2015 European Industry Forum (EIF) will take place on the 4-5 March 2015 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

With a theme of ‘European Industry in Transition: The Information Driven Enterprise in a Connected World’, the EIF forms part of a series of forums organised by the ARC Advisory Group that take place across the globe.

ARC analysts and other automation professionals will provide an insight into successful application projects involving innovative automation technologies and explore current themes and developments.

New and emerging technologies, such as the internet of things, predictive analytics, wireless, additive manufacturing, modular and mobile production, cloud computing, mobility and 3D visualisation, will be topics of discussion.

Presentations at EIF will cover industrial applications, success stories and trends, and provide a holistic view of today’s industrial automation. Other topics of discussion will include:

·         Industrial big data, cloud computing, analytics and optimisation

·         Lifecycle management

·         Organisation and systems for collaborative automation

·         Cyber security

·         Functional safety

·         Energy management and optimisation

·         Workforce development, training and culture

The forum’s workshops will provide attendees with the chance to discuss topics in-depth with ARC experts, suppliers and end users, and cover areas such as cyber security, functional safety, big data and cloud computing, energy management, the internet of things and Industrie 4.0.
