Microsoft has revealed the winners of its 2020 Partner of the Year Awards. The annual honours recognise partners that are “demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology”. Winners and finalists will also be highlighted at Microsoft Inspire, which will take place virtually on 21-22 July.
This year, Microsoft acknowledged partners in 49 categories celebrating the solution areas, industries and sectors. It introduced ten new categories, including the Community Response Award, which it says “recognises partners that have made a great difference, providing innovative and unique services or solutions to help solve problems for our customers and community during these unprecedented times”.
Winners included Accenture/Avanade, Wipro, EY, Blue Yonder, and Taqtile who each won awards.
The winners and finalists were selected from over 3,300 nominations from more than 100 countries based on their commitment to customers, their solution’s impact on the market and exemplary use of Microsoft technologies.
“It is an honour to recognise the winners and finalists of the Microsoft 2020 Partner of the Year Awards,” said Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner organisation. “These partners go above and beyond, delivering timely solutions that solve the complex challenges that businesses around the world face – from communicating and collaborating virtually to helping customers realise their full potential with Azure cloud services, and beyond. I am proud to honour and congratulate each winner and finalist.”
