Arkadin has rebranded to become the cloud communications division of its parent company NTT, joining 28 other organisations and brands. The move will bring new value to clients through the Japan-based innovation centre and global partnership network.

Mark Alexander will lead the division as CEO, responsible for the delivery of complete enterprise communication and smart collaboration solutions on behalf of NTT and its clients.

“It’s an honour to be leading the cloud communications division of NTT into this exciting new era,” said Alexander. “NTT is such a great, well-respected brand – and is doing amazing things for its clients and the wider society. We’re so happy to offer local clients access to the NTT brand, and its wealth and breadth of capabilities. Together as NTT, we’re going to do great things.”

When NTT launched on 1 July this year, it brought together 40,000 people from brands including NTT Communications, Dimension Data and NTT Security into one company. It already partners with over 10,000 clients around the world, including organisations in financial services, pharmaceutics, telecommunications, utilities, manufacturing, automotive and technology. In rebranding to become NTT, Arkadin will be able to offer its clients unparalleled access to more in-depth industry solutions, skills and capabilities.

“We’re delighted to see Arkadin rebrand as the cloud communications division of NTT and know the team there will play a big part in our helping clients do great things, every day,” said Masaaki Moribayashi, senior executive vice president of IT infrastructure services at NTT. “I’m pleased to announce Mark Alexander as the manager for the division, who has been chosen based on his exceptional background. We created NTT Ltd to become a technology services provider that can deliver solutions that meet any of our clients’ digital challenges worldwide and Mark will be crucial to that.”

The other brands that will form NTT over the coming months include; CAPSiDE, Communications Lifecycle Management, DPA, DTSI Group, Emerio, e-shelter, Euricom, e2y, Global IP Network, Gyron, Netmagic Solutions,  NTT Communications Cloud Infrastructure Services, NTT Communications Managed Services,  NTT Global Networks,  NTT Indonesia Nexcenter, Oakton, RagingWire, Secure-24, SQL Services, Symmetry, Training Partners, Transatel, Viiew and WhiteHat Security.
