UK-based independent insurance intermediary Towergate is to migrate key IT services to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform with the help of integration partners Avanade and Accenture.
Together, Avanade and Accenture will move Towergate’s data centres to Microsoft Azure and roll out an end-user computing solution based on Microsoft Office 365, Skype for Business and Windows 10.

Moving to Azure will give Towergate the flexibility to acquire and integrate more business units, deliver new products and solutions at speed, and provide more streamlined services to its customers.

The Microsoft cloud will also offer flexibility through consumption pricing that allows Towergate to manage costs in the current estate as the business volumes grow.
