Accenture relocates its Innovation Center for Mobility in Barcelona

Accenture has relocated the Accenture Innovation Center for Mobility, an innovative space for designing new mobility-based services, to the MediaTIC Building, which is the Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCB) headquarters.

Part of a worldwide network of Accenture Innovation Centers, the Innovation Center for Mobility was relocated from Accenture’s Barcelona office to the MWCB as a demonstration of Accenture’s commitment to the city of Barcelona. It also shows Accenture’s support for the MWCB’s goals to make Barcelona an international hub of corporate mobile projects and solutions development centres.

The Accenture Innovation Center for Mobility has 16 mobility architects and consultants working full time on projects for a variety of industries. They are part of a broader team that designs Accenture’s global assets, and develops innovative initiatives in fields such as the internet of things, video distribution, mobility architecture, m-commerce and wearable devices, serving clients in Spain and around the world.

“In our new premises, the Accenture Innovation Center for Mobility will operate in surroundings conducive to creativity and business problem-solving,” said Ismael Sancha, managing director of Accenture Mobility Spain, part of Accenture Digital. “We will be able to take advantage of MWCB's unique knowledge and networking environment, while sharing the benefits of those interactions with our clients. The centre gives our clients an unparalleled opportunity to see for themselves how mobility-enabled innovation can deliver high performance for their businesses.”
