Acer has unveiled a new series of all-in-one PCs that leverage the Windows 8.1 operating system.
Both devices will be supported by Acer for the free upgrade to Windows 10 when it becomes available on July 29.
The 23.8-inch Aspire Z3-710 and 19.5-inch Aspire ZC-700 devices both sport a fully high definition LED backlit display.
The new devices are designed to allow users to enjoy true-to-life video calls thanks to a 1080p full high-definition webcam, stereo speakers with Acer TrueHarmony, and Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater technology. The all-in-one PCs also include built-in dual digital microphones that can sense where users’ voices are coming from even in a noisy environment.
The Z3-710 and ZC-700 models are built with Intel Core, Pentium or Celeron processor options. The devices also come with 8 gigabytes of memory, maximum 2 terabytes of hard drive storage, and an optional DVD Super Multi optical drive.
The Aspire Z Series also include Acer BluelightShield technology to reduce eye strain by decreasing the amount of blue light the screen emits.
“We’re thrilled with the great innovation in Acer’s latest all-in-one PC,” said Gregory Bryant, corporate vice president and general manager of Desktop Client Platforms at Intel. “Showing just how much the desktop has been reinvented, this slim design with amazing user experience is another great example of what’s possible.”
