Arvizio launches 3D hybrid rendering for Microsoft HoloLens

Enterprise-level mixed reality (MR) provider Arvizio has launched a 3D hybrid rendering for Microsoft HoloLens. Used in conjunction with 5G, the extended reality (XR) solution could have a huge impact on design and manufacturing.

The rendering uses real-time internet of things (IoT) data for a detailed visualisation of 3D models via the HoloLens headset. This data, teamed with the hybrid rendering, then creates digital twins that allow HoloLens users to view and interact with a 3D model of a building, machinery or other computer-generated models. They can simultaneously receive real-time data about the operating conditions of the visualisation.

“The combination of hybrid edge rendering, IoT data integration and XR digital twins will revolutionise many enterprise experiences,” said Jonathan Reeves, CEO of Arvizio. “We are excited to introduce our new hybrid rendering platform for large scale model visualisation and the incorporation of real-time sensor data that can be associated with 3D models provides our customers with seamless and highly functional XR experiences.”
