Shamrock Capital, a US-based investment firm, has invested in learning solution provider Learn on Demand Systems.

Learn on Demand Systems provides cloud-based virtual lab environments for skills validation, education, sales enablement and customer support. Organisations can use these to deliver hands-on experiences for employee training across topics such as DevOps, cloud, security and software development.

“The education technology sector is a key focus area for Shamrock and one where we see tremendous tailwinds,” said Mike Wilkins, partner at Shamrock Capital. “Learn on Demand Systems is a pioneer in the technology training space, delivering comprehensive real-world learning environments to the world’s leading enterprise technology and IT training companies. As many organisations continue to operate remotely, it’s more important than ever that they have virtual environments and training systems in place that enable seamless scalability and validated outcomes.”

Learn on Demand Systems will use the new investment to develop product enhancements, target growth with enterprise technology customers and expand its range of offerings.

“The IT space is rapidly transforming, which is requiring companies to rethink how employees, partners and customers build new skills and validate existing ones,” said Corey Hynes, CEO of Learn on Demand Systems. “Shamrock Capital has a long and impressive track record of collaborating with technology companies to grow their businesses. We look forward to partnering with them during the next phase of our growth to accelerate innovation, drive transformation, and continue delivering our leading technology and services to companies around the world.”
