eShare has released MeetingSquared, a new Microsoft technology-based tool that aims to make organising and managing company meetings much easier.
Developed in collaboration with Microsoft, MeetingSquared can be accessed via Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 and aims to make the meeting process easier for 1.2 billion Office users worldwide.
MeetingSquared allows users to create boards and committees, set up meetings and invite attendees via Microsoft Outlook, upload documents to the meeting agenda, record any decisions finalised during the meeting.
“Meetings are an elephant in the room within business – many of them are inefficient, take too long to prepare for and don’t run smoothly when they are under way,” said Alister Esam, CEO of eShare. “The whole meeting process is broken and MeetingSquared is aiming to fix that for anyone that organises or attends meetings, saving time and resource wherever it is used, while the collaboration with Microsoft means it can be easily accessed via Office 365 or SharePoint.”
MeetingSquared can also help enterprises to ensure that they are complying with industry regulations and company policies. The organiser can securely store a copy of each meeting agenda, along with all supporting documents and a record of any actions, notes and minutes taken during the meeting.
“MeetingSquared will be of use to anyone that runs or attends a meeting, but with compliance increasingly on the agenda, it also provides an audit trail for each meeting it is used in,” said Esam. “The ability to capture notes against the agenda items and any actions that are taken, means users can remain on top of any governance requirements and be more transparent in all elements of meeting administration.”
Rob Howard, director of the Office 365 Ecosystem at Microsoft, said: “Integrated solutions like MeetingSquared add value for our shared users and enable them to be even more productive.”
