Microsoft has granted global independent software vendor Nerdio Co-Sell Ready designation for its Nerdio for Azure IT automation platform via the Microsoft One Commercial Partner Program.

Nerdio for Azure delivers IT automation to make it easier for managed service providers to package, price, provision, manage and optimise hybrid and complete IT environments in the Microsoft Cloud for their customers. Nerdio’s centralised admin portal provides a single management interface, which increases efficiency through allowing non-engineers to handle most tasks quickly. This includes provisioning an entire IT environment within just two hours.

The solution’s Intelligent Autoscaling feature scales computing and storage resources to meet a company’s needs as they change, ensuring that they only pay for what they use. Other key features hassle-free onboarding tools and visual synthetic performance monitoring at the end-user level.

“The technical advantages of Nerdio’s solution for Azure are unmistakable – it allows simplification across the board, completely sidestepping common deployment and management errors, and reducing the use of expensive engineering resources,” said Vince Menzione, strategic channel and partner sales acceleration consultant, who was formerly Microsoft’s general manager of Partner Sales and Strategy. “But I think the most important value proposition may be for [Microsoft’s] Cloud Solution Providers – the elimination of piece-part services, which empowers them to win all of their customers’ cloud business and become their sole provider. Locking in these long-lasting relationships is essential to maximising recurring revenue and ultimately, edging out the competition.”

Nerdio’s new Co-Sell Ready designation means it can take its cloud automation solution to market as a packaged offering with the help of Microsoft. The designation also signifies that it is an accredited solution to Microsoft’s internal and partner executives.

“We’re thrilled that Nerdio for Azure has been acknowledged as meeting the necessary competency, capability, and performance standards of the Co-Sell programme,” said Vadim Vladimirskiy, CEO of Nerdio. “It’s an honour to be selected by Microsoft as a solution that rises to the needs and requirements of Microsoft, its partners and customers. We’re looking forward to helping organisations streamline operations and dramatically reduce costs as more and more of their infrastructure is moved onto Microsoft Azure.”
