fin:CODE 2019: Defining the dev in the financial industry

The third edition of this DevOps event, fin:CODE, will bring together over 100 industry experts from Europe’s leading financial services firms to discuss the challenges that banks, asset management firms and insurance companies are experiencing when adopting and scaling development operations (DevOps) at an enterprise level.

Over 35 speakers will share their expertise through case studies and interactive roundtable discussions, including Paul Shepheard, head of Development Engineering at Deutsche Bank, Axel Kotulla, head of Department Enterprise Architecture Management at Allianz and Remigiusz Dudek, head of Quality Assurance at UBS.

Key topics will include: DevOps and how it can impact customer experience, productivity, costs and profitability; GitOps and Kubernetes and how to ensure best practices for cloud native deployment, management and monitoring; and using microservices and containers to improve scalability and fault isolation.
