Formosa Supermarket has selected an NCR hardware solution to improve service levels in its stores.
One of the largest supermarket chains in Brazil, Formosa Supermarket has adopted a point-of-sale solution includes the NCR RealPOS 40 combined with the NCR RealScan Bi-optic Scanner. NCR RealPOS 40 runs on the Windows 7 operating system.
Formosa has three stores in the Brazilian city of Belém, and enjoys some of the highest revenues per store and by checkout in the country. The supermarket chain required a solution that would be able to deal with increased store activity, as well as the hot and humid in-store conditions.

The solution has been implemented by NCR’s channel partner in Belém, Bureau Technologia.
