Microsoft is increasing the availability of its Sway for iPhone web-based presentation tool.
The latest addition to the Office family, the Sway application helps users pull together, format and share content in an expressive and interactive way.
The app was initially rolled out in New Zealand and Australia at the end of 2014, and Microsoft is now extending its availability to a range of new markets, including the US, Canada, India and the UK.
Sway users can pull content from OneDrive, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, as well as local storage, to create personalised idea boards. The Sway team also introduced the Bing Image Search functionality to the tool in December 2014.
Sway for iPhone can be downloaded from the App Store, and users can log in with the same Microsoft account on the web and Sway for iPhone to access and edit Sways across a range of devices.
A statement from the Sway team on the Office blogs site read: “Going big with Sway for iPhone in lots of English-speaking markets is an exciting step. With more users and more usage, you’ll see us continue to make regular improvements to Sway’s mobile experience. And we’ll keep all those learnings in mind while we continue to work on native Sway apps for Windows Phone and Android devices. We’re moving quickly with Sway and we’re glad to have you with us on the journey.”
