Secure commerce technology firm FreedomPay has moved its European headquarters to Canary Wharf, London in order to grow its UK presence and more effectively support existing customers.

The new offices at 40 Bank Street give the firm the capacity for expansion, particularly of its open payment platform operations, sales and leadership functions. FreedomPay’s new premises will also bring it closer to the headquarters of many of its existing European clients.

“Having a high-profile presence in the UK and Europe is important for us to achieve our ambitions of scaling up and expanding our services to new markets quickly,” said Tom Durovsik, founder and CEO of FreedomPay. “We are ready to drive the future of commerce and payments as one of the first open payment platforms in the world and we will continue to develop and enhance our solutions to meet our clients’ needs.”
