Workplace technology provider Crestron will launch its new Flex MX solution at the end of May for Microsoft Teams. The communication tool aims to modernise video conferencing as it will enable anyone to connect on any platform, from anywhere.

Crestron Flex MX allows user to both run native Microsoft Teams software and use bring-your-own-device capabilities for all other conferencing software, which eliminates any concerns that a meeting room will not support a user’s call. The Flex MX also features HDMI and USB connectivity for content sharing and video conferencing, a camera with 150 degree field of vision and a microphone that provides 360 degree coverage.

“The Crestron Flex Series, and specifically the new Flex MX models, eliminates one of the major impediments to smooth and productive meetings – attendees using different unified communications (UC) platforms,” said Joe Sarrasin, director of UC strategy at Crestron. “The Crestron Flex Series is the only product line on the market that enables people to work together, regardless of location or web collaboration application, and this is the definition of the future of the workplace.”

Crestron Flex MX for Microsoft Teams will be available on 22 May 2020.
