Electronics and gaming retailer GameStop has partnered with Microsoft to enhance its offerings and improve customer experiences, by leveraging Dynamics 365, Teams, Surface devices and other Microsoft solutions.
GameStop aims to standardise its business operations on Microsoft’s cloud solutions and hardware products to deliver new digital experiences to its customers and create the “ultimate gaming destination”.

The organisation will unify its back-end and in-store solutions on Dynamics 365, to empower employees with insights about customer preferences and purchasing history, real-time product availability, and pricing and promotions to personalise and improve the in-store experience. Employees will also use new Surface devices in-store, which Microsoft says will help to meet the needs of customers faster and more efficiently.
As part of the partnership, GameStop will also roll out Microsoft 365 and Teams to its stores, giving over 30,000 store associates access to productivity and collaboration tools. In addition, it has expanded its Xbox family of product offerings to include Xbox All Access, which offers an Xbox console and 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to players with no upfront cost.
