Firm will also connect its customer relationship management records with Microsoft Teams
Global customer relationship management (CRM) firm Salesforce has named Microsoft Azure as its public cloud provider for its Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution. It will also build a new integration to connect Sales Cloud CRM records with Microsoft Teams. The move aims to support collaboration and improve customer service.
By naming Microsoft Azure as its public cloud provider, Salesforce will benefit from the cloud’s compute power, scalability and security. The firm will be able to bring customers onboard more quickly and address local compliance regulations.
Salesforce will also leverage Microsoft Teams, according to the announcement. Many of the companies’ mutual customers use the platform alongside Salesforce CRM. As such, the new integration aims to encourage this and support productivity by enabling users to search, view and share Salesforce records directly within Teams. It will be made available in late 2020.
