Australia-based integration solutions provider Breeze has been named as Microsoft's Application Integration Partner of the Year.
The Microsoft Gold Partner was recognised for a hybrid integration solution it delivered to a healthcare company, providing it with a single reporting interface between practice management systems and Microsoft Azure. The solution has automated the company’s business process management operations, enabling processes to be completed in one day, rather than six weeks. It has also saved the company significant overhead costs per year.
Breeze CEO Nicki Page (pictured) explains to OnWindows what this award means to the company:
Tell me a little bit about your company and what you do.
Founded in 1998, Breeze has evolved from a modest Microsoft training company into a leading provider of innovative application development and cloud integration products and services in Australia. We are a small but big-thinking company that specialises in application development, cloud integration and business intelligence solutions that drive real business efficiencies through smart technology, engineering know-how and the imaginative use of people and systems.
Breeze was the first Microsoft hybrid cloud partner with reference sites and case studies in Australia and is the only Australian company to have earned the Microsoft Worldwide Application Integration Partner of the Year Award. Over the last 3 years, we have achieved the Microsoft APAC Winner 2013 – Application Development, Microsoft Worldwide Finalist 2013 – Application Integration, Microsoft Worldwide Winner 2012 – Application Integration and Microsoft Worldwide Finalist 2012 – Cloud.
Congratulations on winning the award. What does this accolade mean to your company?
Breeze is thrilled to be recognised for a global award again this year, as it demonstrates to our customers that we consistently provide solutions that are recognised for their innovative quality across the world. We have worked hard to build a creative culture at Breeze where our incredible team of creative technologists and developers can see their ideas come to life. A lot of hard work, time and effort goes into developing our solutions so winning a global award is the highest accolade the team could receive, second to a happy client!
What competencies did you have to demonstrate to be a contender?
Breeze needed to be a Microsoft Gold Partner in application development, business intelligence and application integration. We are also an Azure Circle partner.
How are you applying these competencies to help your customers solve their business challenges?
More often than not, Breeze takes new products to new customers and we like to emphasise the combination of Microsoft’s proven technology with our own tools and our record of successful niche hybrid developments with well-known Australian companies. It’s a proposition that puts the customer in their comfort zone by emphasising a low-risk engagement. This is backed up by our award-winning case studies, competencies, reference sites and a growing list of customers who are happy to speak of the success of their Breeze experience.
