Microsoft has chosen cloud and IT solutions provider Wortell as its Country Partner of the Year Award Winner, and Devices and Deployment (Desktop) Partner of the Year Award Winner. The company has been recognised for its cloud strategy, innovation, business impact and positive influence on customer satisfaction.
Based in the Netherlands, Wortell has embraced Microsoft’s ‘mobile-first, cloud-first’ approach and deploys Office 365 apps, transforms line of business apps for the modern Windows 8.1 user interface and delivers traditional apps on the cloud. The company also builds and advises on solutions based on Microsoft Lync, Microsoft SharePoint, among others.
OnWindows caught up with Danny Burlage, CTO at Wortell, to find out more about the company and its award wins
Tell us a little bit about your company and what you do.
Wortell builds innovative IT solutions based on Microsoft technology and platforms, and advises organisations on dynamic and future-proof solutions. We believe that to be innovative, we need to search for solutions based on new, standardised technology. Microsoft is continuously releasing new software and this offers our team and our customers a variety of possibilities.
Congratulations on winning the awards. What does this accolade mean to your company?
Our team is very proud to have received these awards, because it acknowledges the passion we put into our work on a daily basis. Winning the Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award for the second time in five years is very special and feels like a Michelin-star award. We are also very proud of winning the award in the Devices and Deployment category.
How do your solutions help customers to solve their business challenges?
Our modern Microsoft cloud solutions can be deployed on various Windows 8 devices – including phones, tablets and laptops – and are enriched with modern apps to offer our customers a range of business advantages. This includes increasing efficiency, reducing costs and improving business results, which helps them to gain an edge over their competitors. We also aim to help enterprises improve customer satisfaction.
