AAG Systems to use Microsoft technology in CYOD project

UK-based AAG Systems aims to disrupt the £14 billion UK mobile device market with its new Create Your Own Device (CYOD) project, which will leverage Microsoft’s Windows operating system (OS).

The project will be led by AAG System’s new managing director Jason Fitzgerald and aims to help enterprises in the UK to develop bespoke mobile devices and in-house apps.

“CYOD is going to change the way the corporate world sees tablets and mobile devices and how they can benefit their business,” said Fitzgerald. “Bespoke, branded tablets have historically been too expensive to make them feasible for most businesses. CYOD makes it not only viable, but a proven way to increase customer engagement with your brand.”

In 2015, CYOD helped Slimming World to improve customer engagement following the company’s investment in a 9,000-strong fleet of Microsoft-powered bespoke laptops and tablets.

“We are very excited to be bringing this product to many more UK businesses over the coming months,” said Fitzgerald. “The combined power of a branded tablet, Microsoft OS and in-house apps makes this a revolutionary product for any organisation. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to lead this amazing company at such a time of change and growth. Our plans are ambitious, we have an exceptional and passionate team and I look forward to realising our vision."
