Acer has unveiled two new laptop and all-in-one devices that are optimised for Windows 10 at an event in Taipei.
The Aspire R 14 convertible notebook and the Aspire Z3-700 portable all-in-one PC will both enable users to capitalise on the possibilities of Cortana, Continuum and Microsoft Edge.
At 18.5 millimeters thin and weighing just 3.5 pounds, the Aspire R 14 device is easy to use on the move. The device offers 8GB of RAM, Intel 6th-generation processors and solid-state drives to help improve power and speed.
Wireless downloads can be sped up thanks to the device’s MU-MIMO wireless technology, and the device can be easily integrated with Windows 10.
The Aspire Z3-700 all-in-one PC has been designed to aid productivity and to enhance entertainment usage. The device is powered by Intel Pentium and Celeron processors, and offers up to 8 GB of RAM and a full 1080p HD touchscreen. A dedicated stylus also enables precise control for users and works with all Windows 10 touch-optimised apps.
The Aspire R 14 will be available in North America in late October, while the Aspire Z3-700 will be available globally by the end of 2015.
