Microsoft and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have made it their goal to help manufacturers with their AI-driven transformation journeys.

As part of the collaboration, Microsoft and BCG will offer joint executive workshops at various Microsoft Innovation Hub locations focused on digital manufacturing, advanced analytics and smart automation.

The workshops will help manufacturers develop and execute digital and AI initiatives for cost-efficient ready-to-deploy solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing technology systems and improve operational efficiency.

“Manufacturers today face unprecedented challenges from increasing geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain disruptions, rising costs and labour shortages,” said John Knapp, managing director and senior partner at BCG. “Through our expanded collaboration with Microsoft, we are bringing the power of AI to the manufacturing shop floor, including optimising production and enhancing predictive maintenance. By combining BCG X’s manufacturing AI solution with Microsoft AI-driven capabilities, we are helping organisations unlock new levels of resilience, agility and competitive advantage.”

The workshops will first be available in Innovation Hubs in Chicago, Houston, Silicon Valley and Seattle in the US before expanding worldwide.
