The Asian Banking Forum (ABF) Southeast Asia brings together a pan-regional audience of retail banking representatives who are responsible for delivering digital change within their institutions.
Following its launch in 2015, ABF has consistently delivered a practical agenda that drives change in a traditional sector. ABF is attended by service providers and retail banking leaders from across Southeast Asia and the interactive agenda ensures that they have opportunities to learn, share and discuss experiences and ideas. Bank representatives can also pre-arrange one-to-one business meetings with service providers.
Key speakers this year will include ANZ Bank’s Sanjoy Sen, who will speak about how banks can harness ‘Uberisation’; Barclays’ Rana Peries who will share how to increase wallet share in Singapore; and Bank of the Philippine Islands' Natividad Alejo and Bank Rakyat Indonesia’s Irianto Sunardi who will both talk about reaching the unbanked. In addition, Bank Danamon Indonesia’s Vera Eve Lim will discuss the benefits of incremental improvements, and Sopnendu Mohanty from the Monetary Authority of Singapore will highlight the opportunities of innovation and technology.
