Microsoft has released its first update for Azure Media Player since launching it last month.
The online media player, which supports content play on all device types and automatically finds the best streaming format, features a number of enhancements, including updated user interface localisation strings.
Microsoft has also fixed some reported bugs. It has, for example, added more contrast to the ‘Big Play Button’ and the Bitrate menu now uses correct resolution information.
Encouraging users to send their feedback on the new player, Amit Rajput, Azure Media Services program manager, said: “Azure Media Player will continue to grow and evolve, adding more features and enabling more scenarios. To help serve you better, we are always open to feedback, new ideas and appreciate any bug reports so that we can continue to provide an amazing service with the latest technologies.”
