Datapipe acquires adapt to extend managed cloud services

Microsoft partner and managed cloud service provider Datapipe has acquired Adapt, another managed cloud services provider and integrator.

Datapipe architects, migrates, manages and secures public cloud, private cloud, hybrid IT and traditional IT environments worldwide. Consequently, the acquisition will strengthen Adapt’s pure managed cloud proposition with advanced skills, innovation and technology, helping it to extend its services in the UK and across the world.

“Adapt and Datapipe both have cultures that focus on proactive, high-touch customer service and a commitment to customer specific solutions designed to meet clients’ individual business challenges,” said Robb Allen, CEO at Datapipe. “Our similar approach to guiding clients on their cloud journey makes the acquisition a natural fit for us and will increase our scale and service capabilities in the UK and the broader European market.”

Adapt customers will benefit from access to Datapipe’s global data centres and the company’s comprehensive cloud, compliance, security, governance, automation and DevOps solutions.

“Datapipe is the perfect business to acquire Adapt – this agreement is about mutually enhancing regional and global capability,” said Stewart Smythe, CEO at Adapt. “Combined, we provide an unrivalled solution for enterprises wanting to grow, enhance or extend their capabilities, improve efficiencies and secure their enterprise IT operations.”

In addition, Adapt customers will have access to Datapipe’s facilities and technical teams in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Geneva, and Moscow in Europe; Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore in Asia; Sao Paolo, Brazil and multiple locations within the US.
