Telecommunications (telco) firm Deutsche Telekom has chosen Microsoft Azure to drive cloud adoption and digital transformation for organisations across Europe.
The partnership will provide cloud acceleration services for Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Office 365 across nine countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Greece). Through it, Deutsche Telekom will save customers time and money by using the cloud rather than on-premises solutions.
"Microsoft cloud offerings support enterprises to run and grow their business more efficiently,” said Ralf Nejedl, senior vice president of B2B at Deutsche Telekom. “In combination with our new standardised services we will enable our customers to leverage the potential of the Microsoft cloud in a much simpler and faster way.”
Deutsche Telecom will offer customers assessments of the current states of IT, migration to the cloud and managed services, as well as security packages that complement Microsoft products.
“The partnership with Deutsche Telekom is part of our commitment to the region, of bringing digital innovation to everyone, unleashing its creative power and opening new growth opportunities,” said Philippe Rogge, president of Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). “Rich partner ecosystems and building cloud expertise are the best answer to the overwhelming demand for digital transformation we see across the market.”
Deutsche Telekom will now adapt Microsoft cloud solutions according to the demand of clients in the CEE region. Enterprises can now obtain both cloud and telco services from one hand.
