Software developer Devolutions is to host its second annual virtual conference, Devolutions Central Online, from 9am to 4pm EST on 17 November 2021.

The virtual event will bring together Devolutions executives and cybersecurity experts to provide insights into key market trends and best practices that will help IT professionals boost security efforts and enhance productivity.

Troy Hunt, a cybersecurity researcher and founder of data breach notification service ‘Have I Been Pwned’, will headline the event with a keynote speech on the role passwords play in security breaches. He will also outline how IT professionals can mitigate the threats posed by insecure passwords.

Other highlights will include presentations from several Devolutions executives, including CEO David Hervieux, vice president of sales and marketing Maxime Trottier, and vice president of business solutions Maurice Côté. They will share insights from Devolutions’ new Cybersecurity Survey, which will be published in early November, as well as deep dives into several Devolutions cybersecurity and IT products.

In addition, Devolutions Central Online will include a comedy session from stand-up comedian Dwayne Perkins, as well as a quiz and a virtual happy hour where attendees can network with other delegates and the Devolutions team.

“Our inaugural virtual event last year was an overwhelming success, with attendees from all over the globe, representing every major vertical industry,” said Hervieux. “We are equally excited about this year’s event and are thrilled to have Troy as our keynote speaker. One of our primary goals as a company is to help make the jobs of IT professionals easier – and we are confident that the programme for this year’s event will provide attendees with valuable information in a fun and engaging manner.”
