Electricals retailer AO.com is using Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage its finance, supply chain and commerce operations.

Microsoft says that the solution will enable AO to simplify and standardise business processes and deliver a single view of customers, vendors and products.

AO will also use Dynamics 365 as part of its new retail experiences in Tesco supermarkets, by helping “staff provide exceptional service to customers”.

“Embedding Dynamics 365 in our business will help AO.com create economies of scale as we grow, giving our teams a ‘single source of truth’ that they can use to make informed decisions,” said Carl Phillips, IT director at AO.com. “We will also be able to give customers an easy and professional retail journey, from identifying the product to purchasing it. Dynamics is providing a solid digital foundation for future growth at AO.com.”

AO is also using Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Yammer and Teams, to improve communication among teams in the UK and Germany.
