Tata Consultancy Services has set up a new Microsoft Business Unit (MBU) to help enterprises use artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and the cloud to pursue Business 4.0 transformation and boost innovation through Microsoft technologies.

The service will offer a full suite of services and solutions based around Microsoft products. TCS’s global pool of nearly 50,000 engineers will help customers use innovative technologies such as AI to enhance the customer experience, re-imagine employee empowerment and optimise operations.

The new unit will also give organisations a ready means of plugging into TCS’s co-innovation ecosystem.

“Entire industries are transforming, and today every company is becoming a software company,” said Jean-Philippe Courtois, executive vice president and president of global sales, marketing and operations at Microsoft. “Through this expanded partnership with TCS, we are significantly increasing our ability to enable our customers to take advantage of the opportunities to transform and accelerate into the digital era.”
