New Office 365 app helps managers and employees schedule their work day

Rebecca Gibson |

Microsoft StaffHub, a new Microsoft Office 365 app designed to help employees better manage their work day and share information, is now available worldwide.

Using the cloud-based app, managers can create, update and manage shift schedules for their team. Managers can also use the app to quickly distribute important information to their entire team – such as policy documents, news bulletins or videos – or send direct messages to specific employees.

Meanwhile, employees can access all their shift information, see who they will be working with, send individual or group-wide messages, or easily swap shifts with others from within Microsoft StaffHub. Shift change requests are always routed to the manager for approval, and updates and notifications are automatically sent to the team.

Microsoft StaffHub can also be connected to the various systems companies use to manage their workforce. For example, the app will support connections to Kronos’s workforce management and human capital management cloud solutions.
