Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica Business Solutions has included Microsoft Azure services in its cloud services portfolio.

As a result, Telefónica will offer corporate customers the most complete, flexible and secure multi-cloud services portfolio in the business-to-business (B2B) market.

The offering combines local datacentre services with Azure through the integration and combination of its connectivity and security services. Telefónica is currently offering Azure services to its customers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Spain and will accelerate deployment in more countries throughout this year.

“Clients demand a complete IT infrastructure solution where they can consume a range of cloud services and reach them in a way that is secure, reliable, flexible and cost-effective,” said José María Cuéllar, cloud director of Telefónica Business Solutions. “We have been very successful selling and supporting Microsoft Office 365 for our B2B customers, and now we are repeating the growth story with Azure.”

These multi-cloud services prove Telefónica's commitment to offer a complete portfolio of digital services for businesses of all sizes and vertical markets.

“Organisations are looking for the right platforms and trusted partners to help accelerate their digital transformation,” said Mark Rice, general manager of Microsoft Managed Services Partners. “We are building the next level on our partnership with Telefónica to empower their customers to run their infrastructure, applications and workloads on Microsoft Azure.”
