Canada-based Gore Mutual Insurance Company is to modernise its core property and casualty insurance system using billing software from Duck Creek Technologies, an Accenture company.
As part of Gore Mutual’s ongoing core system replacement initiative, the new billing software will be fully integrated with Duck Creek Policy and its black box rating engine, which have already been implemented. The combined platform will support Gore Mutual’s personal and commercial lines of business from quoting and underwriting to payment and renewal.
“The seamless integration between the Duck Creek billing and policy systems made it clear that this is the best solution for us,” said Sean Christie, CIO and vice president of information services at Gore Mutual. “This will provide us with streamlining opportunities, as we will be able to automate manual processes or even eliminate some processes completely.”
The billing software will enable Gore Mutual to offer more payment options, handle higher volume workflows, and enhance billing operations by streamlining and automating processes. This will increase efficiencies and improve responsiveness to brokers and customers throughout Canada.
