Banks can now save money by purchasing software from Jack Henry & Associates bundled with Microsoft Surface Pro 3 devices thanks to a new joint offering by the two companies.
In November 2014, financial services software provider Jack Henry launched the Branch Anywhere application for Microsoft Windows and Surface Pro 3, which allows banks to centrally manage all aspects of customer information.
By selling the software in combination with Surface Pro 3 devices, both Microsoft and Jack Henry hope to provide a best-in-class branch solution that allows employees to manage all aspects of their job without having to use multiple devices.
“With the recent launch of Jack Henry & Associates’ new Branch Anywhere application, there’s a natural fit with Surface to jointly help customers in the new world of branch transformation,” said Cyril Belikoff, senior director of Microsoft Surface. “Because of its combination of mobility and power, Surface has seen great success with banks that are looking to transform their branches or provide greater mobility to their employees. Customers – many of whom had previously been forced to deploy both iPads and laptops to their users – can achieve everything with a single Surface device.”
Customers can buy the software and hardware through a new purchase programme by CDW. They can visit a purchase portal and receive discounts for buying the hardware and software at the same time.
Before setting up this latest initiative, Jack Henry & Associates piloted Surface Pro 3 within its organisation and subsequently made it one of its preferred devices for all employees.
