California-based healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente (KP) has partnered with Accenture and Microsoft to expand its use of cloud technology and deliver better digital experiences to its members and clinicians.
Microsoft says that it and Accenture will help KP to “enhance its innovative, scalable hosted cloud environment that supports its 12.4 million members and more than 85,000 clinicians”. In doing so, KP members should have access to faster and more personalised care.
“This collaboration will help Kaiser Permanente better serve our members by providing our care teams with increased access to cloud-based services, which will enable them to deliver personalised digital experiences and make more data-informed decisions,” said Diane Comer, senior vice president of Kaiser Permanente.
