Payroll software and workforce management provider Zellis has integrated its ZellisOne platform with Microsoft Copilot to provide employees and managers with an AI assistant that responds to workforce, HR and pay-related queries.
The Zellis Intelligent Assistant – built into the organisation’s platform ZellisOne – responds to queries about salary changes, overtime, right-to-work checks, employee availability and other questions workers might have.
The AI assistant can also sign approvals for leave, make contract amendments and pay adjustments.
Employees can access the AI assistant from within Microsoft Copilot Teams or Outlook, eliminating the need to switch between applications during work.
“Customers have invested heavily in capturing rich workforce data, but too often it stays locked in applications,” said Abigail Vaughan, CEO of Zellis. “Frequently, AI asks people to leave the systems they work in. We put ours where your people already work.”
Every request received by the AI assistant is authenticated against the user’s existing ZellisOne permissions and each response is taken from governed data. Additionally, each interaction between a user and the AI assistant is logged and remains auditable.
