IT services provider Unisys has integrated Microsoft Security Copilot capabilities into its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution to assist security teams with AI-powered threat detection, investigation and response.
Security Copilot will work alongside Microsoft Defender and Sentinel as a unified operational system in the MDR solution, providing centralised visibility across security environments. It will also enable AI-powered agents to automate tasks including phishing triage and threat intelligence analysis under governance.
The enhanced MDR solution will also automatically evaluate and suppress low-risk incidents when confidence thresholds are met, allowing security teams to focus on higher-risk threats.
“Organisations are eager to realise the benefits of AI in their security operations, but success requires more than simply deploying new technology,” said Philip Swarbrick, vice president of cybersecurity solutions at Unisys. “Effective cybersecurity relies on the right combination of technology, processes and expertise. By combining Microsoft Security Copilot with our managed security expertise, we help organisations strengthen security operations, improve visibility and respond to evolving threats with greater speed and confidence.”
