IT service provider SoCura has reduced data wait times by up to 70 per cent using a unified data and analytics platform built on Microsoft Fabric.
SoCura partnered with data analytics and AI consultancy group, Dataciders, to build its new platform.
The platform has replaced SoCura's legacy Qlik Sense environment, enabling it to consolidate hundreds of reports under a single governance model and enabling scalable, modern analytics and future AI use cases.
The new compliance-ready platform includes notebooks and smart centralisation for transporting data from its source to reports more efficiently. This has increased data transport performance by 80 per cent.
Additionally, creating data pipelines has enabled SoCura to accelerate data retrieval by up to 70 per cent.
SoCura can now use Microsoft Fabric’s core features, including OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and Power BI, to store data centrally, simplify data integration, optimise transformation processes and improve reporting and analytics capabilities.

SoCura plans to extend its use of Microsoft Fabric by introducing advanced analytics methods, AI-powered insights, agentic AI and self-service reporting capabilities.
