Data management technology provider AvePoint has updated its cloud platform to help customers scale IT operations and improve security across software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications.

According to AvePoint, the improvements will help businesses to accelerate the modernisation of applications, technologies and skills that enhance the digital employee experience.
The updates will improve security across multiple cloud platforms, by expanding the backup capabilities of Microsoft Azure, providing more robust functionality for Salesforce backup, and enabling safe multi-tenant management in Microsoft 365.

The enhancements also aim to make it easier for infrastructure and operations leaders to scale repeatable processes and boost productivity, as well as helping organisations to reduce risk, decrease storage costs and optimising efficiency.

“As companies around the world continue to future-proof their businesses, it’s essential they have the solutions necessary to secure their collaboration data and ensure business continuity so that the role of IT teams can evolve to improve digital workplace infrastructure and experience,” said John Peluso, chief product officer at AvePoint. “Today’s enhancements across our platform protect multi-SaaS operations, reduce the burden on IT teams, minimise cost and protect mission-critical data.”
