Enterprise IT software solution provider Quest has released a new version of its Enterprise Reporter for Microsoft Teams. The solution enables organisations to secure workloads and meet compliance requirements in hybrid-cloud environments with full visibility and support into Microsoft Office 365 productivity workloads.

According to results of a recent Spiceworks survey, Microsoft Teams is now the second most widely used chat app, set to become the most widely used by 2020. Quest is supporting companies using the platform with Enterprise Reporter, giving IT teams the capabilities to discover, assess and report on the configuration to maintain compliance with security best practices, internal policies and external regulations.

“We’re committed to driving innovation that supports an organisation’s investment in Microsoft by making it simpler to manage and secure workloads across their hybrid cloud environments,” said Brad Kirby, senior director of Product Management for Microsoft Platform Management at Quest.  “The new release of Enterprise Reporter with Microsoft Teams support gives organisations better visibility into their Teams environment so they can ensure regulatory compliance, quickly identify potential security risks and avoid any potential business impact.”

The solution features built-in, customised reporting capabilities to ensure security across hybrid active directory resources and Office 365 productivity platform with extra support for Microsoft Teams, SQL servers, Windows file services and network-attached storage devices.
