The InternetRetailing Expo (IRX) & eDX is to provide training, networking and conference sessions for retail professionals at the NEC in Birmingham, UK from 13-14 October.

IRX & eDX will offer hands-on training on a range of topics within online retailing, including e-commerce, mobile commerce, payments to fulfilment, international growth and augmented reality technology, among others. The free learning programme across the two-day show has been created to address current challenges and issues faced by the retail sector including sustainability, customer experience and business growth. A series of interactive workshops and conference sessions will be featured, with appearances from senior specialists at Gymshark, DPD, Grenade and others.

Attendees will also be able to meet with over 150 suppliers such as Huboo, Trustpilot, WorldLine and RedEye, to discuss their technologies and services.

“We’ve witnessed huge changes in the retail sector over the past year,” said Stuart Barker, portfolio director for IRX. “A recent study by Kantar concluded that lockdown shopping habits are likely to continue with 33 per cent of households believing their volume of online purchases will increase, accounting for one-third of total retail sales by 2024, according to eMarketer. These are significant figures and IRX & eDX is here to provide the retail industry with knowledge, insight, inspiration and connections to ensure they can thrive in the new digital world.”
