Microsoft releases preview of Send for Android app

Microsoft has released a preview of its Send for Android app.

The Send app helps enable collaboration between coworkers and organisations with mobile workforces.

Send offers a simple, quick, text message-like experience that allows coworkers, customers and classmates to connect on the go.

The release follows on from Send for iPhone earlier this year, and both Send for iPhone and the Send for Android preview will now be available at app stores in the US, Canada, UK, Brazil and Denmark.

With the new preview, the ability to delete conversations, add people to conversations, send direct messages to people from a group conversation, share your location, and make a phone call have all been introduced.

Microsoft has also added support for GIF sharing to the Send app. The preview version of Send for Android will be available on Android phones with 4.2 and up.
