Shure has announced the general availability of the IntelliMix Bar Pro, an all-in-one collaboration bar and touch panel for medium and large meeting rooms that is certified for Microsoft Teams.

The solution is designed to provide the audio and video quality required by AI-powered meeting features, including transcription, summarisation and AI-generated insights.

“Every transcript, summary, and AI-generated insight begins with what your room’s devices can hear and see,” said Sam Sabet, chief technology officer at Shure. “When the inputs are clean, confidence in the outputs increases, and this becomes even more important when collaborating with AI agents.”

The IntelliMix Bar Pro combines Shure’s IntelliMix View AI video framing technology with onboard IntelliMix audio processing. The system is designed to capture speech, facial expressions and other non-verbal cues from participants across a room, including those seated at the ends of a conference table. This is intended to provide AI tools with more consistent meeting data, helping to improve transcription accuracy and support AI-powered services.

According to Shure, its audio processing technology isolates voices and reduces background noise, while IntelliMix View keeps participants visible through AI-powered video framing. The system is designed to provide consistent performance across meeting rooms while reducing the need for more complex integrated AV systems.

“For IT teams, success isn’t just delivering reliable AI outcomes in one room,” said Susy Liem, vice president of collaboration and conferencing at Shure. “It’s delivering them consistently across every room,” “We’re giving IT teams an enterprise-ready solution that simplifies deployment while delivering the data clarity needed to unlock the full value of Microsoft Teams, Copilot, and Facilitator.”

The IntelliMix Bar Pro is built on Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform, an enterprise extension of the Android operating system, and is designed for organisations requiring remote management and security across multiple locations.

The device can be managed and updated remotely through ShureCloud and enterprise management platforms including Pro Management Portal and ServiceNow. It is also certified for Microsoft Teams, which Shure said is intended to help organisations deploy the solution across Microsoft Teams Rooms environments.

“The IntelliMix Bar Pro brings high-quality audio and video performance organisations need to get the most from Microsoft Teams Rooms and tools like Copilot and Facilitator,” said Albert Kooiman, general manager of Teams partner engineering and customer enablement at Microsoft. “When communication is transcribed clearly, and diarised by Microsoft Teams, AI-powered experiences can be more accurate, useful, and effective.”
