Audio solutions provider EPOS has launched the IMPACT 400 Wireless headset, which is certified for Microsoft Teams with Premium Microphone for Open Office.
Designed for use in open offices or hybrid workspaces, the IMPACT 400 Wireless headset features Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, LC3 codec for natural sound, EPOS voice pickup technology, and hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) powered by EPOS BrainAdapt to reduce background noise. Independent testing conducted in line with the Microsoft Azure Speech Test Specification showed that EPOS voice pickup technology delivered a 99 per cent word-recognition rate in noisy environments.
The foldable headset has direct controls for calls, volume, ANC and connection with Microsoft Teams, as well as an adjustable boom microphone with AI-based environmental noise reduction capabilities. It also has multipoint connectivity to facilitate two simultaneous Bluetooth connections, allowing users to easily move between computer and mobile communications.
The headset offer up to 39 hours of talk time with ANC and the busy light on, while the 20-minute fast charge provides up to 12 hours of talk time.
Users can adjust personal audio settings or install firmware updates with the help of EPOS Connect, while IT managers can use EPOS Manager to centrally configure and manage deployed devices.
