Marine vehicle design company NAOS Group is to deploy Dassault Systèmes’ ‘Designed for Sea’ and ‘Optimized Production for Sea’ industry solution experiences to help virtually create and manage the master reference of a superyacht.
NAOS will use the industry solution experiences to integrate all design, engineering and manufacturing processes through a single virtual environment. The company will also be better placed to facilitate the numerous design changes requested by shipyards and shipowners during the project development process with greater ease thanks to the solutions.
Running on the Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the two solutions allow naval architecture and marine engineering services teams to be connected to requirements, regulations and project planning, with full traceability throughout the development process.

Teams at NAOS can capture and reuse existing data, handle design changes, start planning manufacturing early in the design process, and deliver high-quality documentation for hull structure scantling and fabrication.
