Risk EMEA 2019: three streams to encourage discussion and networking

The 8th annual Risk EMEA event, taking place on 11-12 June in London, will provide its visitors with three separate work streams, offering more information, discussions and networking opportunities. The event will welcome over 300 attendees to hear from over 70 speakers on risk and regulation.

The separate streams will also allow attendees to more easily seek out talks and information relevant to them.

Stream One will cover innovation in risk and operational resilience. More specifically, visitors will be able to learn more about innovation risk, cyber risk, challenger banks, operational resilience, know-your-customer, blockchain, artificial intelligence and machine learning, efficiency, regulation technology, fintech and the second payment services directive.

Stream Two will enable visitors to discover more about strategic balance sheet management. This includes, liquidity risk stress testing, the internal liquidity adequacy assessment process, model risk, recovery and resolution, balance sheet management, capital optimisation and more.

The final stream will cover evolution and future trends in credit risk. Portfolio management, leveraged debt, macro-economic environment, credit markets, counterparty credit risk and Brexit will all be covered in this stream.

In all streams, attendees to Risk EMEA can hear from a number of speakers, including keynotes from Louise Thorpe, chief privacy officer at American Express and Alistair Nunn, chief revenue officer of UK Ventures at Barclays. Each stream will also feature talks and presentations from relevant speakers.
