Microsoft’s Jon Farmer to discuss opportunities and challenges with financial services execs

Microsoft’s director of financial services industry marketing for Microsoft 365, Jon Farmer, will speak at Sibos 2020 to discuss the opportunities and challenges of combining old and new technologies in financial services.

The session ‘Managing the traditional world, while building out the digital future’ will take place on 8 October and feature insights from a panel of financial services executives. The moderator, Soumitra Dutta, professor of management at Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business, and Farmer will be joined by: Peter Cherecwich, president of corporate and institutional services at Northern Trust, Andy Ellis, head of ventures at NatWest, Esther Galiana, managing director and head of financial institutions at BBVA, Michael Spitz, CEO of Main Incubator GmbH and blockchain expert at Commerzbank Group, andNicole Zimmermann, head of customer and marketing global payments at Western Union.
