Retail management solution provider CitiXsys has released a certified integration between its omnichannel platform iVend Retail and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This will provide retailers with the necessary back-end tools for running and managing an omnichannel business.
The new solution provides a complete omnichannel platform which enables the access and transfer of data between systems. It simplifies communication between point of sale (POS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP), and gives retailers deeper visibility into sales, customers, inventory, and operations to improve the customer experience.
“iVend for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central opens up a world of new possibilities for retailers,” said Kamal Karmakar, CEO at CitiXsys. “Prior to our certification with Microsoft, there were limited options for POS and retail management solutions with a native connector. We’ve invested into the development of this integration to ensure that it truly benefits the business and provides a seamless user experience.”
The platform also enables retailers to connect in-store and head office business processes into a single system, dramatically reducing manual data management. It also allows businesses to track customer trends and purchasing preferences to make more informed decisions about inventory levels and match it to customer demand.
“It’s a new era for our channel partners that work with Microsoft’s ERP,” said Paula Da Silva, executive vice president of global partners and alliances at CitiXsys. “Up until now, they’ve been piecing together systems that created siloed data and didn’t offer a true integration with real-time visibility into operations. Now, that is a thing of the past with iVend for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.”
