Hotel & Resort Innovation Expo 2023 (HRIE 2023) will host a selection of keynote talks, lectures, panel debates and a limited-edition podcast to help hotel executives to increase their brand awareness and enhance customer base and revenue.

According to the HRIE team, attendees will “become experts in building a brand story, engaging their community, curating bespoke experiences for guests and taking their hotels into the future”.

The free event – taking place on 10-11 October 2023 in London, UK – will explore six key themes including hospitality needs, brand building, community engagement, guest experience, future-proof technology and hotel design across 30 hours of seminars.

“Taking to the keynote stage, the Institute of Hospitality will be recording a special live podcast over two days,” said a spokesperson for the event. “Featuring two panels of talented industry leaders, Phil Street, director of Momentum Hospitality Recruitment, will host discussions on technology trends for the future of hospitality. The special podcast will be released in early 2024.”

Also at the Keynote Theatre, attendees will hear about the latest hotel technology such as using the metaverse and immersive virtual reality spaces called igloos. “Guests can learn about curating a brand story from Best Western Hotels & Resorts, catering to the ‘Bleisure’ sector with capsule hotels, and incorporating outstanding tech into your hotel offerings,” said the spokesperson.

Other debates and sessions will be held at HRIE’s Theatre 2 and 3, with delegates from technology providers such as Adyen demonstrating how hotels can use smart solutions to combat payments, cybersecurity and recruitment issues.
