IBC 2026 will bring together broadcasters, content owners, rightsholders and solution providers from across the globe to exchange insights on how AI and advanced data is changing content production, distribution, performance analysis and fan engagement at RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands from 11-14 September 2026.

This year’s conference will focus on AI in creative workflows and real-life deployment, audience behaviour, sports transformation, trust and provenance, and new commercial models.

Around 65 per cent of attendees at this year’s conference will be either C-suite, vice president, executive vice president, director level or above.

There will be over 600 speakers at the event to deliver a range of panels, workshops and case studies. Topics will include the creative use of AI in storytelling, cloud-based production and interactive fan engagement during live sports events, the balance between broadcasters expanding into regional markets and preserving local relevance, and how brands are changing their approach to advertising through community-driven campaigns and use of media platforms.

Claire Enders, CEO and founder of Enders Analysis, will deliver a keynote addressing media consolidation in a rapidly changing industry. Alex Charalambides, senior vice president and chief technology officer at CNN, will give the second keynote and explore how social media, AI and digital platforms are being used in newsrooms for automated reporting and creating personalised content.

There will also be a CTO Perspective conference, where select chief technology officers will talk about their personal experience of using agentic AI, machine learning and data-driven tools to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Some of the other highlights of this year’s conference will include the IBC Accelerator Zone, a platform for skills development and real-world innovation, and IBC’s Future Tech zone, which will host live demonstrations and networking.
