Bringing together digital transformation leaders to drive the use of the industrial internet of things
By Elly Yates-Roberts |
The IoT4CA Europe Summit will take place on 20-21 November 2019 at the Sheraton Munich Arabellapark Hotel in Germany. The event brings together digital transformation leaders who are driving the use of the industrial internet of things (IIoT) in Europe’s oil and gas, chemical, power, utilities, manufacturing, transport, and pharmaceutical industries.
According to the event organisers, the IIoT holds the promise to generate a new wave of technological innovation, as businesses can connect physical machines with intelligent analytics to provide operational insights. Organisations are looking to leverage the IIoT to reduce downtime, increase efficiency and welcome a new era of economic growth and competitiveness.
Senior professionals at the event will assess the requirements of Industry 4.0, address common implementation challenges, benchmark their companies’ digital maturity, and share experiences to support each other’s digital transformation journeys.
Some of the event’s key themes will explore the possibilities and implications of smart factories, how IoT has changed various industries, and how to boost business with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
